Oh, Paiten says the cutest things....

So I have been really bad at keeping up with the journal I have for each of the girls. But I am trying to change! But Paiten has said some cute and funny things and wanted to share.

The other night I was putting her to bed and I always talk about what she has to look forward to the next day.
Me: "We may not get to go to Sea World tomorrow if it rains."
P: we need rain to help the flowers grow, right?
Me: yes, they need water badly
P: we can just fill up cups and water them.
Me: that would take too long and be expensive
P: well just sent God some money so he can let it rain!!

Just tonight:
Rori was going potty and her and I were cheering and high 5ing when Paiten walked and and saw what we were doing and she got a sad face and yelled "you dont cheer for me when I go potty" and she stomped off. !!!!!!

Every other day she asks-mommy I want to be married right now. Can you get me married?
I love this one because it shows me that she sees marrage as a good thing. Not many get that anymore!

Playdates

So me and some of my friends with kids of the same age of mine have been doing playdates. It is so nice. We take turns and provide snacks and drinks! I hosted mine at the city park. It went so well. No one got hurt and the oranges were a big hit!! This is going to be a great summer. Last summer I felt alone and bored. Not this summer! We have a designated Sea World day==although we are always going on another day!! I like having a plan. Waiting for someone to call and do something or vs. versa is annoying and never works out. So here is to good friends with kids and playdates!!! Too bad it makes summer seem like its going by way tooo fast!

Sleeping in is an option...

I cannot get my 2 year old to sleep past 6:30. I was upset about this for a few days but tried to put a positive spin on it. I decided that it will be just me and her time. I have just me and her time with my oldest when the youngest goest to bed so why not!!! We are in the process of potty training and thats what we do in our time!! So I guess I made lemonade out of lemons. But I do hope by the time summer is in full gear she will be sleeping til around 7!!!

Cheer Camp

Not for me!! But totally for my 4 year old-PaitenShe had so much fun! She is learning a dance and a cheer. They decorated goodie bags for the football players. She didn't want to leave!! Sitting there from 1-4 is exhausting for me. I had my 2 year old-Rori-with me. She is everywhere all the time. What a trip!!! She played with just about all the parents. She played peek a boo with a lot of the moms sitting around!! She is so funny.

Paiten was asleep within 10 mins of being in the car. It wore her out!! I even got a nap in today!! I love that! I am thinking that tomorrow I will stay about 30 mins and then head out to do some shopping. I just feel weird leaving her there. Other parents of her age did it. But I am not like other moms. But it is totally a waste of my time to be there with my young one. Would you leave your 4 year old at camp and go do something else?

Starting it finally

I am going to start blogging this summer. I have so many friends that do and I love it. I want to see if I can do this. My life seems uneventful but people are always interested in it!!! So hope you are enjoying this.
